Obverse 4 Reverse G
Obverse Diagnostic Point(s) Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: Obverse 4 is paired with a second reverse die. Reverse G has a Small O mintmark that is positioned left and high and leads to easy identification. There are traces of a die crack between the top of the letters (ST)A(TE)S. This die crack continues to worsen until the reverse fully cracks at this point and produces coinage with a retained cud. See Variety 107a for the interim die state and Variety 107b for the terminal die state.
