Comments: On Doubled Die Obverse #3, the doubling can be found in the same locations as Doubled Die Obverse #2. However the doubling of the right edge of the shield is not as strong and does not show on the shield edge below the scroll end. Shield lines 10 and 12 are again doubled, but a higher grade coin is required to distinguish this diagnostic. Doubled Die Obverse #3 is much more common that Doubled Die Obverse #2.
