Obverse Diagnostic Point(s)                   Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: Obverse 1 has been polished or lapped. The size of the date digits has diminished and the DR measurement is now 0B1 instead of 0L. No chips are visible around Stars 4 through 6. Die cracks surround Liberty's head. The obverse has been clashed with Reverse B. Clash marks can be seen to the right and left of Liberty's head. Reverse B exhibits a Medium O mintmark that is positioned left but centered in the vertical direction. The reverse die has been strongly clashed. The reverse die clashing is an important diagnostic by which to differentiate Reverse B from Reverse C.

Plate Coin: G. Fortin Collection, AU50
