Obverse Diagnostic Point(s)                   Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: Obverse 4 has been sharply clashed. Clash marks are most obvious above the date digits, to the immediately left of Liberty's left arm and to the right of Liberty's right elbow.

Obverse 4 shows clashing while paired with a second reverse die designated as Reverse E. On Reverse E, there is a small die crack in the lower right wreath's oak leaf as pictured above. The denomination is bold as compared to other 1861 Type 1 reverse dies.

Plate Coin: G. Fortin Collection, AU55
