Comments: Obverse 1 is next paired with Reverse B and during that die pairing, develops a die crack that starts at the rim above UNIT(E)D and proceeds through the letters UNITE(D STATES) until reaching Liberty's head.
On Reverse B, the Medium S is positioned to the right, but centered in the vertical direction. Reverse B is only known to be paired with Obverse 1 and during that pairing exhibits die cracks in the lower left and right wreath areas. It is suggested that collectors use these die cracks as the primary diagnostic tool for Reverse B.
