Obverse Diagnostic Point(s)                 Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: Kam Ahwash stated the the first 1 digit in the date is repunched at the base, but close examination of the plate coin suggests a broken punch typical for 1891 coinage. He also mentions a die crack through the bottom of 8 and 9 digits.

On Reverse L, the Small S mintmark is well centered in both the horizontal and vertical directions but visually closer to the denticles than the ribbon knot.

Plate Coin: G. Fortin Collection, VF35
