Comments: Obverse 12 exhibits a 1 digit in the date with a clearly broken right foot. A significant die crack starts at the right foot of the first 1 digit then proceeds right through the bases of the date digits. Another die crack starts at the top of the second 1 digit, moves diagonally through the base and Liberty's foot and into the top of AMERI(CA) before exiting to the rim.

Obverse 12 is paired with Reverse B, the Doubled Die Reverse #1. Again, doubling is clearly seen within the denomination. Doubling is most evident on (ON)E and (DI)ME.

Plate Coin: G. Fortin Collection, PCGS MS62 - Greer Plate Coin
