Comments: Both Obverse 2 and Reverse B have been polished or lapped. The base above the last two 8's in the date has been nearly eliminated by the polishing. The die defect between a denticle and the left foot of the 1 digit has been removed. The die scratch in the lower left part of the shield is still visible. The lower left wreath and left ribbon end have been partially eliminated by the polishing. The die defect in the center of the corn ear remains. Reverse B, in this polished die state, will be paired with two other obverse dies. See Varieties 109 and 110.
