Comments: This variety presents one of the few triple digit misplaced dates in the Liberty Seated dime series. The lower end of the scroll bisects the top of the first 8 digit. The top of the middle 8 digit is visible to the left of the pendant while the top of the final 8 digit is well defined and visible to the right of the pendant. The normal date slopes down with repunching evident at the top of the lower loop of the final 8 digit.

Discovered by the author and listed as MPD-001 in the Kevin Flynn "Two Dates Are Better Than One" misplaced date reference book. Later this challenging variety was added to the Top 100 Varieties set.
