Obverse 2 Reverse B
Obverse Diagnostic Point(s) Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)
Comments: The legend on Obverse 2 is thin and weak. There is a die defect between the "0" denticle and the left foot of the 1 digit. The base over the last two 8 digits is weak. There is a faint die scratch in the lower left part of the shield between shield lines 4 and 5.
On Reverse B, there is a large die defect or blob in the center of the corn ear. Both Obverse 2 and Reverse B will be polished to strikes proof coinage. See Variety 102a.
