Reverse B.3: Polished Die, Die Defect On Corn Ear

Obverse 9                                                Reverse B.3

Obverse Diagnostic Point(s)                   Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: Reverse B has been previously polished, erasing most of the left ribbon end details and significant amounts of the outer left wreath leaves. The die defect on the corn ear is readily visible and allows for quick die identification. A second die defect is noted in the left wreath at about 9:00. Die cracks have begun to appear during this die pairing and are highlighted above.
