Comments: The date punch is better centered on Obverse 2 with a Denticle Ruler measurement of DR 1C. There are several diagonal die lines in the gown immediately to the right of the shield as highlighted above.

Reverse G was previously identified by Dr. Tim Cook, as part of the Variety 107 discovery, and can be attributed by a die line through (D)IME which extends into the left wreath.

Short Flag 1 Variety 108 was discovered by Dr. Tim Cook during 2020. Variety 108 results from the pairing of the Short Flag 1 Obverse 2 with the Variety 107 Reverse G die. Reverse G can be attributed by a diagonal die line through (D)IME. The new Variety 108 discovery makes clear that the Philadelphia mint was striking small production runs with multiple die pairings.
