Obverse Diagnostic Point(s) Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: The discovery of additional 1877 Type I reverse dies continues with Variety 107. On this variety, the D(I)ME is obviously tilted right, therefore the designation as a "Lazy D(I)ME" reverse. Die doubling is evident on ON(E) and DIM(E) as is typically seen on 1876 and 1877 Type I reverse dies. There are radial die cracks along the outer edges of the lower left and right wreaths. These die cracks cross along the bottoms of the left and right ribbon ends and meet under the ribbon bow knot.
