Comments: The reverse die employed for 1877 proof strikes exhibits bold die doubling. The center die region including DI(ME) and extending to the the outer edge of the oak leaves in the lower right wreath shows the strongest die doubling.

Reverse A will be paired with a second 1877 obverse die that is label as Obverse 8. The circulation strikes from this die pairing will be seen with proof like surfaces.
