Comments: Obverse 12 remains in the same die state as Variety 112 and exhibits similar die cracks. There is obvious die clashing below Liberty's right arm which may also be present on Variety 112 (the author needs to examine the Variety 112 plate coin at a later date to confirm). The die crack to the left of Liberty's head starts at the tops of STAT(ES) and drops to the lower loop of STATE(S) then across to Liberty's head. There are a group of die cracks to the right of Liberty's head. The first die crack leaves Liberty's head and ends in the field above the cap. Another starts to the left of the cap, then through the cap and into the lower section of (O)F. Another starts immediately to the left of (O)F, then through the top of the (OF).

Reverse J is found with a huge die cud in the left wreath between 9:00 and 10:00. The balance of the reverse die cracks as illustrated for the earlier die state Variety 112 remain the same. This reverse die continues to show die clashing behind DIM(E).
