Comments: A later die state of the Obverse 1 die is paired with a second Small O reverse die. Obverse 1 exhibits a fairly continuous die crack originating from left and right sides of the base up through the rock and meeting at the shield. The mintmark on Reverse B is positioned further right than on Reverse A. Another diagnostic point for Reverse B is die cracks from the rim to (U)NITED. Small O Variety 102 is considered a bit more difficult to locate in EF or better than Variety 101.
