Comments: Variety 104 is an available Large O variety with a boldly repunched mintmark. Repunching is clearly evident to the south east of the final mintmark. During this early die state, Reverse C shows no traces of the typical horizontal die crack through UN(I)TED and into (DIME). Star 8 is boldly repunched on Obverse 2. No other die pairings with either Obverse 2 or Reverse C are known at this time.
