Comments: Reverse E is incrementally paired with a third obverse die. Obverse 8 exhibits a medium level date. There is a long die crack that connects the bottoms of the 77 digits, then proceeds up through the foot and into (A)MERICA.

Reverse E remains in the later die state as when paired with Obverse 6. There is a large die crack in the lower right wreath. The die crack in found along the outer edge of the oak leaves and moves upward into the corn ear. On this plate coin, several die lines are also in the same area on the oak leaves. Once again, Reverse E is clashed during this die state.

Plate Coin: G. Fortin Collection, AU50
