With Arrows - Unhubbed Date and Arrows

Variety 111

Obverse 11: Bold Arrows Overlap Base, High Level and Oblique Date

Reverse K: Perfect Die

Obverse 11                                                Reverse K

Obverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: The date appears much bolder at the top of the digits than the bottom, therefore the designation as an oblique date. Arrows are also bold and overlap the base. I consider this variety to be rare, having not seen an example in EF or better grade.

Plate Coin: G. Fortin Collection, F15
