Comments: Variety 101 is the first of three different proof varieties. On Obverse 1, the date is level. There are two diagonal and parallel die lines below Liberty's chin and on Liberty's neck. A close inspection of the date digits revealed a defect within the bottom loop of the 8 digit.
On Reverse A, the central reverse is very weak with D(IM)E appearing faint on this proof specimen.
