Payment Terms

Checks are the preferred payment method and should be made payable to Gerry Fortin Rare Coins.
Visa, Mastercard and Discover Credit Cards are accepted. A 3% fee will be applied to the total purchase price to cover the credit card issuers fee. A minimum $250 purchase is necessary for credit card purchase.
Paypal is also accepted. The 3% Paypal transaction fee will be passed along and applied to the total purchase price.
Payments shall be made within 7 days else coin(s) may be released from hold. Offers welcomed and your satisfaction is a must!
For security reasons, please do not label any letters with the words "Rare Coins". Please address all letters as "GFRC".

Postage and Insurance

All orders up to $5000 will be shipped via 2 day USPS Priority Mail with signature confirmation. Over $5000, GFRC uses USPS Express Priority shipping with insurance coverage up to $70,000; please contact me for shipping details and cost. Shipping and insurance charges to be added to each order are as follows:

GFRC Quick Ship Program

GFRC strives to provide customers with differentiated service including fast shipments ahead of check payments. Quick Ship is GFRC's special courtesy to repeat and trusted customers. Once making several purchases with timely payments, customers will be moved into the Quick Ship program at my discretion.

Lay-a-ways

I understand that buyers may need time to pay for those special acquisitions. My standard Lay-a-way policy is 33% down to hold coin with two equal monthly payments of 33% to pay balance. There are no additional charges for Lay-a-ways, but coins bought on lay-a-way are considered sold with no return priviledge. The initial Lay-a-way down payment must include the shipping fee.
The minimum purchase amount for a three payment Lay-a-way is $900 and $600 for a two payment Lay-a-way.
