Obverse Diagnostic Point(s)                   Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: The Ahwash 1 variety can be identified by a die defect attached to Liberty's chin. Ahwash did not mention this diagnostic in his Encyclopedia, but the defect should be visible on both circulated and Mint State dimes.

On Reverse C, the IM in DIME is doubled. The doubling on the I is visible at the base of the letter, while the doubling on the M can be seen above the left diagonal and the right upright. Reverse C is paired with another obverse die and that pairing is listed as Variety 114.
