Comments: Attributing 1876 dies can be challenging and tedious. However, with Variety 122, there is a bold reverse die marker to simplify the task. Obverse 22 and Reverse U form the Variety 122 die pair. A large die chip is readily seen on the upper top of the D(I)ME. Coupling this die defect with a weak reverse center working die hubbing, one could call this the "Broken I" reverse die.

Obverse 22 features a level date punch with a Large Knob 6.
