Obverse Diagnostic Point(s)                  Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: When initially paired with Reverse B, Obverse 1 is clashed. There is a single set of bold clash marks to the left and right of Liberty and behind the head area. The die cracks on Obverse 1 continue to become more prominent during this die state especially the die crack from STATE(S) through Liberty's head then right to the rim.

Interestingly, Reverse B shows no die clash marks which indicates that Obverse 1 was paired with another reverse die during its initial clashing event. More sophisticated research will be needed to find this clashed reverse die. The mintmark on Reverse B is centered horizontally and is positioned slightly above the horizontal cross hair line.
