Comments: Both Obverse 4 and Reverse F are heavily clashed. The repunching in the lower loops of the 8 and 9 digits remains clear during the later die state. Reverse F has begun to crack. Die cracks are visible in the wreath.

During December 2009, Donald Bennett developed a graphical analysis method with CamStudio freeware to overlay the F-106 dies and demonstrate the reciprocating clashing on obverse and reverse dies and also providing an exact measurement of die misalignment of 8 degrees. Donald's .avi formatted movie can be downloaded here and launched with Window Media or Quick Time Players.
