Comments: A terminal die state example of 1891-O Variety 132 surfaced within a GFRC consignment from Mike Mucedola during October 2019. A retained cud at the left wreath between adjacent maple and corn leaves and the rim has formed. The cud is elevated well above the surrounding devices. Other Variety 132 reverse die cracks are present but difficult to see on the plate coin due to wear and lack of image contrast.

Obverse 29 diagnostics are unchanged during the Variety 132a die state.

Mike Mucedola is credited with the first identication of the terminal die state followed with verification by the author.
