Obverse 2.2                                            Reverse B.2

Obverse Diagnostic Point(s)                  Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: As the obverse die erodes, the repunching under the base of the 1 digit becomes faint and is difficult to attribute even with 10x loupe. The die lines between denticles and 18 digits also fade as the die ages.

In later die states, the Reverse B die crack through the tops of the letters A(MERICA) to rim is bold and should be the primary variety diagnostic.
