Variety 112a

Obverse 10.2: Depression At Lower Shield, High Level Date

Reverse K: Horizontal Bisecting Die Crack Through DIME

Obverse 10.2                                            Reverse K

Obverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: The lower shield is completely eliminated due to a large depression, probably resulting from foreign material on the die. Once again, Reverse K exhibits a horizontal and bisecting die crack starting at UNI(TE)D through the left wreath leaves, then through DIME and the right wreath, and through AME(R)ICA to rim. The die crack is faint between the letters DI(ME). Another die crack is found joining the tops of the letters (OF A)MERICA. Rim cuds are evident above (STAT)ES.
