Obverse 10a                                           Reverse L

Obverse Diagnostic Point(s)                 Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: The lower shield is completely eliminated by a large depression, probably as a result of foreign material on the obverse die.

Reverse L exhibits a horizontal and bisecting die crack starting at UNI(TE)D through the left wreath leaves, then through DIME and the right wreath, and through AME(R)ICA to rim. The die crack is faint between the letters DI(ME). Another die crack is found joining the tops of the letters (OF A)MERICA. Rim cuds are obvious above (STAT)ES.
