Comments: On the above plate coin, Obverse 13 is shattered with bold die crack encompassing Stars 10, 11 and 12. There is also an obvious die crack from the left base to the rim and incremental die cracks through the stars and date digits. Attributing Obverse 13 requires the use of die cracks as the date punch is positioned similar to Obverse 10. On both obverse dies, the date measurement is DR 0L with the date punch close to the base. Reverse O is seen with early die state die cracks in the legend STA(TES OF) AME(RICA) as illustrated above. The die cracks are quite faint as compared to those on Obverse 13.
