Obverse Diagnostic Point(s) Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)
Comments: A repunched 1 digit is the primary diagnostic for Obverse 7. The repunching is visible below the base of the 1 digit. The date also has a strong downward slope that allows for this variety to be easily recognized without much effort.
The denomination (ONE DIME) is doubled on Reverse H with the doubling being most visible on DIM(E). This is the first die pairing of Reverse H while in an early die state. The dies are polished and produced reflective or proof like surfaces on the plate coin.
There will be two subsequent die pairings with Reverse H. See Variety 110 and Variety 111.
