Obverse 23 Reverse T
Obverse Diagnostic Point(s) Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)
Comments: On Reverse T, both C's in the mintmark have a noticeable upward slope measured at 6 degrees from horizontal. The right C in the mintmark touches the right ribbon end. Doubling is clearly evident within the denomination, however the macro images above only provide details of the doubling on ON(E) and DIM(E).
The lower shield on Obverse 23 has several diagonal die lines that cross through shield lines 3 to 9. The die lines are faint and would be better seen on a higher grade coin.
