Obverse Diagnostic Point(s) Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: The denticles on this example of Obverse 22 are eroded. Obverse 22 is paired with Reverse S. Reverse S can be easily mistaken for Reverse E, the reverse die paired with the Doubled Die Obverse. Both Reverse E and S have doubling above the (D)IME and a mintmark which does not tilt either left or right. The diagnostic that differentiates the two reverse dies is the lack of doubling on O(N)E on Reverse S. See Reverse E for this detail.
