Reverse K: Die Crack From 3:00 - 4:30, Small CC, [mm Lt,L], Mintmark Well Spaced

Obverse 12 Reverse K
Obverse Diagnostic Point(s) Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: Obverse 12, one of the 1876 Carson City rusted dimes, is paired with a second reverse die. Rust damage continues to be evident throughout Liberty's upper body and the shield. The die defect below UNIT(ED) remains visible on this F12 example. Reverse K exhibits a massive die crack in the lower right wreath from 3:00 to 4:30. The Small CC mintmark is level and well spaced. Again, I have yet to find an earlier die state example of this variety with either no die crack or an interim die state crack.
